Black Box LPD500A MiC PoE PD 10-100 Converter

Bridge long distance Fast Ethernet fibre optic segments over Ethernet or Fast Ethernet copper cabling without the need for a power source. These media converters are compatible with the 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard and draw their power via an UTP cable connected to a PoE power source equipment, such as our PoE L2 Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch (LPB200A). This setup makes the converter ideal for remote areas of a network without AC power outlets.

The configuration of the units is quick and easy doing over DIP-swicthes
