The Gigabit PoE+ Ethernet Managed Switch adds 28 high-speed ports—including four 10-GBE SFP+ ports— plus PoE/PoE+ capabilities. It's extremely flexible and scable enabling you to add 10-GbE uplinks only when you need more capacity.

This capable Layer 2+ switch offers (20) autosensing 10-/100-/1000-Mbps RJ-45 ports, (4 ) dual-media ports, each consisting of (1) 10-/100-/1000-Mbps RJ-45 and (1) SFP; and (4) 1-/10-Gbps SFP+ ports. The dual-media ports can be used either as a normal UTP Ethernet port or adapted to 100- or 1000-Mbps fiber through the use of an SFP.

The four SFP+ ports support 1- or 10-Gbps uplinks through the use of SFP+ transceivers. The SFP+ ports give users the ability to define the distance they want from 500 meters to 10 kilometers or more depending on the SFP use.
